History of Bee Best

Located in the Clear Lake Manitoba, Riding Mountain National Park, Bee Best produces natural, organic and flavorful honey. Started back in 1980, Jackson Gilmore was the third generation living in a family farm. Raised and grew up surrounded by livestock and the pure nature in rural Manitoba, Gilmore had much love in culinary arts. He started raising honeybees and his honey harvest was loved by family and friends.

Their bees could be seen He put more effort in it and started selling his honey in local farmers’ markets and community centers. Bee Best Honey was loved by the community and the Gilmore family started expand their business in the 1990s. Inspired by his children, who loved different flavors on their foods, Gilmore explored different possibilities in producing a variety of honey flavors, including blackberry, lemon, maple, raspberry. All of the flavors are from natural and fresh ingredients from organic farms.

Bee Best is operated by Jackson and Cheryl Gilmore, and their two daughters. The honey is harvested from one the of finest apiaries in Canada. Giving the knowledge of beekeeping to the next generation, Bee Best is now a member of Manitoba Beekeepers Association.
